Gilmary Retreat Feedback

"I said it before, and it still holds true, my first retreat was overall the most memorable, meaningful experience in my life. Never before had I stopped to think on such things, like who I am, and putting all of my troubles at Christ's feet. My only regret was that it took me this long to find the courage to go. It was definitely just what I needed, a weekend from my life to learn how to live not by myself, but with Christ. An outstanding experience, I can't say enough."  ~Mike (senior)

"I really and truly had an awesome weekend and though I didn't WANT to go home I left feeling well equipped to face the world and it's challenges! I am still feeling spiritually refreshed and even having to face Monday hasn't dampened my spirits! ;) Praise God!  I think it was wonderful that so many of us were moved to finally make a good confession... what a blessing!   ~Raeanne (senior)

"I had an AMAZING time this weekend!!! It definitely changed my life for the better… I would recommend everyone to go to any future retreats or getaways for the youth group. The SENT Team really helped out with everything, and couldn’t have done a better job. I’m really glad I was able to participate in this wonderful experience, and I hope to do so again in the future!!!"  ~Nick (sophomore)

" I had a wonderful time on the retreat. I had only been on one other retreat and I wasn't sure what to expect, but it was a lot of fun. It really helped me to grow closer to Christ."  ~Lauren (freshman)

"I will tell you that when I picked him up on Sunday, he was so excited.  He said it was the best retreat ever."  ~SYM parent
